Meet the Owner
IDEA-certified (International Door Association) and licensed and insured in the state of Ohio, Dave founded Ironclad in 2012 after 9 years working for a national garage door chain - and getting tired of watching customers get upsold on repairs they didn't need. He still runs calls himself, and he trains every technician on the Ironclad trucks the same way: diagnose first, explain it in plain language, then quote. Between them the crew has handled over 6,200 repairs and installations across Columbus, from single-car residential doors to multi-bay commercial overhead doors.
We diagnose before we quote - no flat "$400 service call" regardless of what's wrong. If it's a $95 roller replacement instead of a $600 opener swap, that's what we tell you and that's what we charge. Every truck carries common springs, cables, rollers, and opener parts so most repairs finish in one visit.
